Out of Work?!

Brothers and Sisters,

As we near the expiration of the Northern California Drywall Finishers Master Agreement, I urge Local 3 Drywall Finishers to attend our regular meetings to voice any concerns and stay up to date regarding the upcoming contract negotiations.

Work has been picking up for Painters and Drywall Finishers. The Painters Out-of-Work List is longer than what we like but we are making progress. For Paint, Monticelli, Giampolini, and Romano’s have been hiring as of late. For Drywall, Raymond and Custom Drywall have hired. I have spoken to a few Contractors that are going to require an increase in workforce in the upcoming weeks/months. Please place yourself on the Out-of-Work List if you are currently off.

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade VAC was a huge success. We had a great turnout. If you missed it, there is another chance to attend a VAC for Cesar Chavez Day Parade! See flyer for details.
