Local 83 Executive Board

Hello members of Local 83, we had a decent turnout at our last membership meeting. It is nice to see the members get involved in the process, during the meeting we had members step up to fill vacant spots on the E-board and now we have a full E-board at Local 83 to lead us into 2022.

Nominations and elections will be coming up in May and June for all E-board spots as well as the Business Representative position that is also up for nomination and election in 2022. To be able to be eligible to be nominated for spots you must attend the meetings prior to nominations.

At the last meeting it was decided to design a new jacket for Local 83 that will be given to any members that attend 4 meetings in a 12 month period. Come out to the meetings to get involved and get a free jacket from Local 83. Drywall finishers have a contract that is going to expire on June 30^th 2022 so come out and give your input and get informed.
