Drywall and Floor Covering Negotiations

Brothers and Sisters,

The Northern California Drywall Finisher Master Agreement Fresno Area and Sacramento area Addendums and the Northern California Floorcovering Master Agreement and the Fresno Area and Sacramento Area Addendums are expiring in 2022. That means we will be going into negotiations on the Agreements. A hustle was sent out on the wants and needs of our members to our members for the Drywall Agreement and did not see any responses from our Local. If you are a Member of DC16/LOCAL 294 you will have a vote on the Master Agreement and the Fresno Area Addendum. As I am sure you are aware the Addendums amend the language in the Master Agreement for the Counties Covered Under the Addendum. If the master language is not amended in the Addendum the Master Agreement Language prevails. The counties covered under the Drywall Addendum are Fresno, Madera, Tulare and Kings, The Counties covered under the Floorcovering Agreement are Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Kings, Merced and Mariposa. Please start thinking about what you would like to see with the upcoming Master and Addendum in regards to wages and language. We need to know what you are wanting in order to establish a negotiating strategy. I will be emailing, Hustling and also mailing USPS a form for you to fill out and return to me at the Local for review take some time think things through and respond. PLEASE PARTICIPATE IN THIS EXERCISE IT IS VITAL THAT WE KNOW WHAT YOU ARE WANTING. We appreciate you and want to thank you in advance for your participation in your Agreements.
