With the Holiday season around the corner and work being slow I thought it would be a good idea to share information on local food banks in the counties under the Local 487 jurisdiction. Please share this information with anyone who may need it.

• The Emergency Food Bank Main Pantry is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., excluding holidays. 2-1-1 San Joaquin
  For a comprehensive list of community resources, please visit 2-1-1 San Joaquin, at www.211sj.org.  You can also dial 2-1-1, or (800) 436-9997, from your landline or mobile phone.  Help is available 24 hours a day.
• Door Dash Program
  The EFB distributes bags of food to over 500 Stockton residents’ doorsteps every Tuesday. Contact 2-1-1 Family Resource and Referral Center to enroll (see info above).
• USDA Commodities
  Food and nutrition items provided by San Joaquin County are distributed at the Emergency Food Bank on the last Wednesday of each month (see Helpful Links below).
• Partner Pantries supported by the Emergency Food Bank
  Several locations throughout the County distribute emergency food. Times and dates varies by location, see Pantries page.
• Independent pantries and food programs
  Offered by other agencies throughout San Joaquin County (see Helpful Links below).
