District Council 16 wants to remind all Members that open enrollment for the IUPAT VIP Plan ends December 31 for January 1 coverage.

As a value to our IUPAT Membership, you have access to important Voluntary Income Protection benefits.

This benefit has been a true lifeline for many of our Brothers and Sisters, and with only one more enrollment period after this, we want to ensure every Member has the information needed to decide if this plan is right for their family.

The IUPAT Voluntary Income Protection (VIP) Plan, administered by Union One, provides the options to get protected in: Short-Term Disability Income Plan, Long-Term Disability Income Plan and Income Life and AD&D Insurance. These benefits protect your income when you’re unable to work due to injuries, illnesses, surgeries, pregnancy, or death.
