DC16 SAFE HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREAT EVENT

District Council 16 hosted the first Safe Halloween event on Friday October 24^th at the 2020 Williams St. It was a success, there was food, games, prizes, DJ, and a photo booth, we also had Town Print Shop giving out bags for the trick or treaters, they were printing them out as people were showing up.

We would like to thank the members that attended along with their families, and the partners, Kaiser Permanente, Rising Sun, Cypress Mandela, Tradeswomen Inc, Assemblymember Liz Ortega, San Leandro City Council Member Dylan Bolt, CTWI, M&A Painting, Alameda Labor Council, and CBTU.

This event was open to the community so that they can have a safe Halloween. This was the first year of such an event in CA and we hope to have one next year since we received positive feedback from our members and our partners.
