Brothers and Sisters,
I hope that everyone is in good health and that their families are well. November 11th is Veterans Day and I want to make sure that we honor the women and men who served our country. Our young men and woman have been protecting the rights and freedom of American’s for over 240 years. Millions of American Service Members have made the ultimate sacrifice and have died on the beaches of Normandy, in the forests of Belleau Woods, Iwo Jima, Pearl Harbor and on American Soil.
Two other very important dates that are coming up ,The United States Marine Corps Birthday on November 10, and Pearl Harbor Day is on December 7th. I would like to be respectful and take a moment of silence on each of these days to honor all of the women and men who have served our county. I believe that we will not be able to honor those who died completely, but we can always have them in our thoughts.
