1st Place Installer!

Brothers and Sisters of Local 567!

We are so proud to announce that one of our very own Floorcovering Apprentice placed 1^st at The International Surface Event (TISE) in Las Vegas. The convention was held January 27 -29 and featured vendors and installation competitions.

Brother Martin Alonso Diaz was chosen by DC16 to participate and went head to head with apprentices through out other District Councils. Martin was given 3 days to complete a mock up with various material applications and technics. Each competitor was then judged by a panel of professionals in the industry and graded on their abilities.

Needless to say, Northern Nevada came out with the 1^st place victory. Way to go Brother Alonso Diaz for showing the world that Local 567 produces world class installers. This is a huge accomplishment to you, our training staff at DC16 FTI, and to your employer B.T. Mancini.
