Jobsite Spotlight and Help Wanted

2025 has been a busy year and it’s about to get even busier here in the Northern Nevada Region. We are currently in the full swing of construction around our area with building new schools, data centers, and hotel remodels. But there is so much more to come. In the coming months our region is slated to start construction on the expansion and remodel of the Reno Tahoe Airport, the Golden Nugget Casino Remodel in South Lake Tahoe, 2 New data Centers at USA Parkway, and the Nevada State Health Lab at UNR. And this is just tip of the iceberg of the many projects that have been funded and are scheduled to start construction in late 2025 -2026. 

With all this growth and expansion, the IUPAT DC16/LU567 is looking to add more members to the union to fulfill the workforce needs of our employers. If you are currently out of work or know of any skilled trades people in the crafts of Drywall Finishing, Painting, Flooring, or Glazing please refer them to the Union Hall.

One prime example of a project that is putting our members to work currently is the new Vaughn Middle School. This project alone has over 25 skilled craft workers from local 567 working full-time.
