Thank you to everyone who showed up and participated in the 9^. annual Avila’s Cancer Fund Chili Cook-Off. This event raised money to help people fighting cancer and their families with everyday expenses that can seem insurmountable when their primary focus is on getting healthy. Thanks also to the Council and to all the affiliated Local Unions that donated to the cause! And also, just so you are aware I won the chili cook off for the third consecutive year and for the sixth time overall and was very proud to donate back the monetary prize to the fund. Thanks again and we look forward to participating again in the future.

Please if you have not yet voted get

out to the polls and VOTE for Labor Endorsed Candidates !!! and most of all VOTE NO ON PROP 45!!!! NO, NO AND NO. It is an attack on your UNION WAGES!!!

Last but not Least Happy Birthday to Brother Juan Rosales and Sister Nidia Chicas!!!!!

¡Trabaja duro / Trabaja con seguridad / Entrena!
