WELCOME NEW DRYWALL FINISHER CONTRACTOR

Hello Brothers and Sisters,

I am happy to inform you that DC16/LU294 has signed TRUCRAFT INDUSTRIES INC to the Northern California Drywall Finisher Master Agreement and the Fresno and Sacramento area Drywall Finisher Addendums. Mr. Riley Farnsworth is the President of the company and has also expressed interest in signing our Painter Agreements in the future. TRUCRAFT will officially become signatory on December 1^st, 2026. We are very happy to have TRUCRAFT on board and look forward to our members having another employer to work for. 

Floor Coverers your Master Agreement and Addendum expire in 2027. Please start coming to Union meetings and giving input also please respond to the survey when it comes out. We need your info to be effective!

Have you taken the Building Union Power Class? We have scheduled classes in Fresno for the following Dates; all classes will be at 5PM. Please call the Local and put your name on the list. Oops you forgot? Don’t worry just walk in!!!

Thank you to everyone who showed up and participated in the 9^th annual Avila’s Cancer Fund Chili Cook-Off. This event raised money to help people fighting cancer and their families with everyday expenses that can seem insurmountable when their primary focus is on getting healthy. Thanks also to the Council and to all the affiliated Local Unions that donated to the cause! And also, just so you are aware I won the chili cook off for the third consecutive year and for the sixth time overall and was very proud to donate back the monetary prize to the fund. Thanks again and we look forward to participating again in the future.
