Employers Painter Trust Insurance Notice

This message is for all Local 567 members and their families covered under the Employers Painter Trust. It has come to our attention that as of October 1^st the contract between Aetna Medical and Northern Nevada Medical and Sierra Medical Center has been cancelled. We understand this may affect some of our members and their families. You can still get medical care at these facilities, but they will no longer be within network of our insurance. What that means to you… you will end up paying a higher deductible and will not be covered to the extent of the insurance plan, meaning it will cost you more.

We are currently working with the Trust Fund and the Trustees to get this coverage back to our members and their families, but this may take time to negotiate a new contract. With only 3 major medical facilities in our region, we understand the impact this may have on our members and their families.

Currently Renown and St. Mary’s Hospitals are with in network of our insurance plan.
