As we head into the Holiday season, please be check the events calendar for upcoming VAC’s.
Saturday November 20, there will be a Turkey Drive & Health Screening in Oakland. 8:30pm – 12:00pm – give out turkey’s to those less fortunate 10:00am – 3:00pm – Free health screening, Rapid Tests, Booster Shots for Covid-19, HIV & Hep-C. National Apprenticeship Week is 11/15/21 – 11/21
The JATC would like to choose at least one apprentice from each trade to highlight. We would like to utilize social media to highlight our future Journeyworkers. Please choose an apprentice that you find is a role model on the job. We request a couple sentences from the contractor explaining why this apprentice is being recognized. This can be written by their foreman, superintendent and/or any leader chosen. We also request a photo of this apprentice performing their work or on the job. Please take the photo with your phone in the horizontal position (to keep consistency). Please take a couple so we can choose which one will fit best. Please submit your written testimonial and photo’s to Jeff Christophersen at jeff@dc16jattf.org by Thursday November 11th.
