New SF Union Hall

After years of planning, set backs and issues with the City, permits are finally approved for the new Union Hall at 65 Oak Grove Street.  A full interior renovation along with exterior façade and the addition of an elevator will be starting mid February.

DC 16 recently hosted a job walk where General Contractors and Subcontractors came to meet with DC16 Business Manager Robert Williams and FCGA Architects to lay eyes on the project and gather any questions they may have before submitting their bids. The timeline is to have the buildout finished This Year!

Once completed, Our Local 913, Floor layers Local 12 & Glaziers Local 718 will have a permanent home that we own in San Francisco. Our Union meetings along with select STAR training classes will be held at this location saving us from having to make the drive on a Saturday morning to the Tracy training center.
