We Are Here to Help!

Posted October 31, 2025

Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

I hope this article finds each and every one of you well. I know times are tough — the cost of living continues to rise, and the prices of groceries, gas, and utilities seem to go up every day. Many of our members are struggling to keep up, and the dollar just doesn’t stretch as far as it used to.

This year, Local 767 plans to provide food for some families through the holidays. If you or someone you know is in need, please reach out to me. I’ll gather your information and bring it to the Executive Board to see what we can do to help you and your family during these increasingly difficult times.

As union members, it’s important that we continue to take care of one another. If you notice a fellow coworker who seems down or struggling, take a moment to ask, “Are you okay?” or “Is there something I can do to help?” In the end, it’s all about humanity and looking out for each other. We often spend more time with our coworkers than with our families, so we must also look after each other’s mental health — especially during the holiday season.

Work in Sacramento is expected to pick up in December with Enclos on the UC Davis California Tower project. If you are out of work, please make sure you call in on the first working day of the month to stay active on the Out-of-Work List. Also, be sure all of your certifications are up to date so we can dispatch you to work as soon as possible.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or comments. I’m here to help you with anything discussed above or any other issues you might be facing.

Safe Travels
