We Lost a Long Time Labor Leader
Posted January 29, 2022
I unfortunately have horrible news to bring to you. Our former Local 376 President Charlie Richard has passed away. Charlie was born on 07/25/1947 and was 74 years old when he passed. He was a military man and he joined the IUPAT as a Drywall Finisher in 1983 and was a Shop steward for Anning and Johnson. Charlie was on my first job I ever went on as an apprentice at Cal Berkeley. Charlie frequented the Burning Man Festival and was even on the board. We all here within the DC16/Local 376 family are all saddened at this news since everyone that knew of Charlie “Loved” him, he was a genuinely solid Union member that always supported everything we did. He was involved in everything union and was a positive light to all that were blessed with meeting him. He will be dearly missed as a member a Labor Leader and most of all a “Friend” to all that knew him.
HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL OF US
