Wage Allocation Update – 2027 Wage Increase

On May 12th, the Bay Area NorCal Glaziers held our wage allocation vote for the 2027 wage increase. We had a total of $4.50 to allocate. Below is the breakdown of the allocation approved by the membership:

• $0.50 to H&W (held in reserve — any amount not used will be allocated to taxable net wage)
• $0.25 to NorCal Pension (this $0.25 will be on benefit)
• $0.23 to IUPAT Pension (increase required by the Constitution)
• $0.17 to Wage Equity (Market Recovery)
• $0.10 to IUPAT Administrative Dues (deducted from taxable net wage)
• $2.00 to Annuity
• $1.35 to Taxable Net Wage

With this allocation, the Journeyman Glazier wage rate will increase to $62.84 per hour, bringing the total package to $103.45 per hour.
