TRAINING SCT1

Have you taken Supervisor Certification Training 1 (SCT1)? This is the qualifying class that you must take in order to qualify for the R IN STAR (REWARDS) in other words to be able to attend the STAR event and be eligible to receive gifts. You must meet other qualifications as well you may find those qualifications on the STAR website at www.dc16star.org that is where you sign up for STAR classes including the SCT1 Class.

I am bringing this to your attention as I have scheduled an SCT1 class for Fresno at the Local Union 294 Union Hall for Saturday September 26^th, 2026 beginning at 8am. This class is limited to the first 25 members that sign up. All DC16 members are eligible to sign up for this class so if you are a member of LU294 and need this class I strongly suggest that you get on the site and sign up as opportunities to take the class in Fresno are very limited.

LU294 Drywall Finishers we have extended your Addendum’s expiration date due to the lengthy process of negotiating the Master Agreement. I will let you all know as soon as we schedule times to negotiate with WACA.

LU294 Painters we are scheduled to negotiate with the FRESNO PDCC during the first week of August and will be notifying you as soon as we have either Tentatively Approved an agreement or receive a Last Best and Final. Please stay tuned and be ready to cast your vote.
