The Political Arena

Brothers, and Sisters,

Just as we think that the hard-fought elections are over new local political campaigns begin. We are going to be asked to help local politicians in City Council Seats, County Board of Supervisors Seats, SMUB Board and Senate Seats. Our key to secure work in the Sacramento Valley has been to secure PLA’s and CWTA’s and we need to make sure we elect politicians who support our needs. In the Sacramento Valley we have over 20 PLA’s or CWTA’s. Some of the larger PLA/CTWA’s are, Aggie Square, Sacramento Unified School District, City of Sacramento, Wilton Rancheria, Port of Stockton and the DGS properties. We continue to work to secure this work but that requires that we stay politically active. Please stay involved and attend City Council meetings, register to vote and stay up to date with Local issues.
