The International Surfaces Event 2026

Brothers and Sisters,
I hope you’re all doing well in this Holiday season.
This year, we participated in the International Surfaces Event, where thousands of flooring installers and manufacturers get together to share one passion: Flooring.
IUPAT started doing apprenticeship competitions amongst the western regions, DC5, Hawaii, DC36, Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, DC5, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Alaska and DC16, Northern California and Nevada.
All of the apprentices are winners just because they participated in this amazing competition.
We are proud to announce that DC16 has won for the second consecutive year, this time, with an apprentice from Reno! Martin has shown what professionalism looks like. And to be honest, whoever would have won, we are still super proud of them because they have shown skills that nobody else has.
They win tools, money, paid trip and the recognition of being an apprentice of a District Council.
