SFO

Posted October 17, 2025

The SFO project labor agreement was recently renegotiated for the next 10 Years with work totaling in the Billions! While this doesn’t entirely mean the work will always go to a Union Company, it does mean that Non Union companies are awarded work, they must sign a site based agreement with the respective Union of the craft and hire out of our halls and follow our collective bargaining agreements for the project. In most cases the work does go to one of our shops. The PLA has strong local hire requirements, especially when it comes to apprentices. Terminal 1 recently wrapped up with work starting on Terminal 3 and various other locations throughout the Airport with a handful of our signatories on site. Below you will find some photos from Local 913 Apprentice Jose Salazar working with Nevell Group in the Baggage Claim, Luggage Processing and Customs Areas.
