Serving With Purpose Always

I want to personally thank each and every member of Local 1621 for the trust you have placed in me by electing me as your Business Representative. Being born and raised in this trade, and spending my career working alongside many of you, makes this position incredibly meaningful to me.

When I first got involved in the union, I never imagined that one day I would have the privilege of representing the membership. This union has provided opportunities for me and my family, and I am grateful for the chance to give back to the organization that has given so much to me.

One thing I have always believed is that character is doing the right thing when nobody is looking. It’s easy to do the right thing when people are watching, but true character is measured by the decisions we make when nobody else knows. As your Business Representative, that principle guides me every day. Whether I’m handling a grievance, negotiating on behalf of our members, visiting jobsites, or sitting in meetings, I always ask myself one question: Is this what’s best for the members of Local 1621?

I know I won’t always make everyone happy, and there will be times when difficult decisions have to be made. But I promise you this: every decision I make will be based on what I believe is right, fair, and in the best interest of our membership
