Local 718 membership,
I hope you are all well and for those that do not know me, my name is Juan Calderon Business Representative with District Council 16 assigned to LU 718. We wish Brother Bart Pantoja well in his new position with San Mateo County Building & Construction Trades Council and thank him for his dedication and service. I had the privilege of working with Brother Pantoja and I will say that he will be missed. District Council 16 is looking to hire a new LU 718 Rep in the next two weeks or so and if a candidate is picked, he/she will attend the DC16 Organizing Boot Camp and will start in March.
A few reminders, 2/18/2022 is a D.D.O. , 2/21/2022 is a Holiday, upcoming VAC is the St. Patrick’s Parade in S.F. on March 12th, 2022. Work safe, and thank you for reading.
