Building & Construction Trades Council of Northern Nevada Announces Community Open House at Local Apprenticeship Training Centers
Sparks, NV – Today, the Building & Construction Trades Council of Northern Nevada is happy to announce the first annual Building Trades Community Open House at our local apprenticeship training centers.
On April 9th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, our local registered apprenticeship training facilities will open their doors to the public for tours, program information, and demonstrations. Participating trades include the Bricklayers, Construction Craft Laborers, Electricians, Heat and Frost Insulators, Iron Workers, Operating Engineers, Painters, Plasterers & Cement Masons, Plumbers & Pipefitters, Sheet Metal Workers, and more.
“We are excited to share what our training programs offer with the community,” said BCTNN Secretary-Treasurer Rob Benner. “The careers these programs offer are transformative. They’re earn-while-you-learn, debt-free, and most of them can lift a family of four out of poverty in less than six months. Everyone is welcome.”
