Brothers and Sisters,

The November 2026 election is just 3 weeks, and we have a very important measure on the ballot and that’s Proposition 45, this Proposition affects our communities, our industry, and working families across California. Prop 45 would speed up environmental reviews and legal challenges for certain projects, including housing, transportation, water infrastructure, schools, hospitals, and clean energy. While supporters argue this could help get projects built faster and reduce costs, opponents which include a coalition of 450 organizations, Labor Unions and Political raise concerns about limiting public input, environmental protections, and the ability of courts to review projects. As union members, we must understand what is at stake, and consider how these changes could affect our jobs, our communities, and future generations. Our strength has always come from being informed. Take the time to read the facts and VOTE NO ON PROP 45!
