All painters, please see the new training requirements below.
Missing the required certification could mean missing work opportunities. Find out which safety Credentials are now required, and additional training becomes mandatory on July 1, 2027.
Commercial Painters: Required Today
- Fall Protection & Ladder Safety
- Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (Booms & Lifts)
- Harassment Training
- OSHA-10 or OSHA-30
- Scaffold Training
New Requirement Starting July 1, 2027
- Lead Awareness Training will be included with 1stAID/CPR
Industrial & Bridge Painters: Required Today
- OSHA-10
- Scaffold Training
- Harassment Training
- CAS Level 2 Certification (Spray Painters & Blasters)
- Hanging Platform Training
- Mobile Work Platforms (Booms & Lifts)
- Fall Protection & Ladder Safety
New Requirement Starting July 1, 2027
- AMPP Lead Awareness
