Upcoming Drywall Agreement

Brothers and Sister Drywall Finishers, your contract is expiring June 30, 2022. You need to contact your various Representatives to let them know what it is that you would like to see in your upcoming contract. And please, instead of the usual “I want a $10.00 per year raise”, be smart and be reasonable. If you really think you will get that kind of raise, let me be the first to tell you “NO” you won’t. Over the years you have seen anywhere from $0.75 – $3.50 +. If you think that you will get more than that, I hope have about two months’ worth of wages set aside to pay your bills, because you will need it.

We Need a new home.

The Local is looking to move. If you know of any office space available in the Watsonville – Castroville area, please contact me, as I can check it out. We are currently looking for a larger space to accommodate not only the office but to also be able to hold meetings in. The Local has expanded by over a 100% in the last few years, and its time we upgraded to a larger space.
