Local Union Update

Posted March 14, 2022

Brothers and Sisters,

Local Union Office:

Our office is now open to the Membership, Members will have to wear masks but everyone is welcome. Our office hours are 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM. We are closed from 12:00 PM till 1:00 PM for lunch. Please put yourself on the Out-of-Work list if you are not working. You must do this every month on the first working day of the month.

Paying Your Dues:

I would also like to stress the importance of setting up reoccurring payments for Over-the-Counter Dues. If you setup reoccurring payments it is the best way to make sure your Dues are being paid on time. If you are having trouble please contact your Local Union Office.

VAC:

I would also like to mention that the VAC has plenty of Events that you can patriciate in. Be sure to check the VAC Calendar for the latest events. Don’t forget, you can also request an event of you own, for more information please visit the website or give the Local a call.

Gold Member:

I would like to acknowledge Dennis Lindsey for over 50 years of service. Denise is a Gold Member and we will be putting an event together for all the Local 767 retirees.

Brother Bill Meehan:

Lastly at the end of January we lost an incredible labor Leader in Bill Meehan. Bill was Business Manager for Local 767 in the 80’s and the IUPAT Vice President until he retired. Soon after Bill retired he started to run the NCCT program. Bill will be truly missed and he will always be watching over us.
