Congratulations to Local 12 members Justin Lopez and Hasan Basic from D.S. Baxley Inc! Justin was the highest scoring competitor in the Carpet Division and Hasan finished second in the Wood Division of this regional competition but because he had the highest score out of all the runner ups in the nation he has earned a spot to compete for the National Title in Las Vegas early next year. I also want to acknowledge the other Local 12 members who also stepped up and were willing to put their skills on the line to be judged; they were; Joey Edmonds of Andersons, Jesus Cervantes of All County Flooring, Mario Sanchez of D.S. Baxley Inc, Brett Potter of D.S. Baxley Inc, and Gary Harrison of Local 12. It takes a lot of confidence to put your skills up to a challenge like this and every single Local 12 member that competed should be proud of the job they had done by not only representing their company and their Union but the way they represented themselves.
