Working towards having jobs close to home:

I have had meetings with Santa Cruz City Council member Justin Cummings in the hopes of getting a majority of Santa Cruz council members on board with a Project Stabilization Agreement with the City of Santa Cruz. This will mean more Local work opportunities for all our members close to home. More to follow.

Construction Opportunities for friends or family members:

The Monterey / Santa Cruz Building and Construction Trades Council is starting a new construction “ Pre- Apprenticeship class in March, depending on accessibility due to COVID-19 restrictions. These classes Teaches the students the basics in the construction Trades. Various Trade Unions then have access to qualified students and bring them into our own Apprenticeships.
