In Memoriam: Brother Jimah Abdelwahhab

Posted August 22, 2025

Brothers and Sisters,

With profound sadness, I share the loss of our beloved Brother Jimah Abdelwahhab, who passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 36. Diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in the fall of 2024, Jimah faced his illness with courage, though treatment could only briefly extend his life.

Brother Jimah was a radiant presence in any room, embodying strength, wam1th, and a deep connection to his Muslim heritage. Those who knew him will forever cherish his beautiful soul and unwavering character.

Jimah is survived by his devoted wife, Audrey, whom he recently married, his parents, and his three sisters. 1n accordance with his faith, his body was laid to rest shortly after his passing at a Muslim cemetery in Livermore.

Brother Jimah will be deeply missed by his friends, colleagues, and the entire Local 718 community. We are grateful for the support shown to Jimah and his family during this challenging time.

In Solidarity,

Trevor Long
