HAPPY LABOR DAY

Posted September 4, 2026

Brothers and Sisters,

I hope this finds you all doing well. I wanted to take this opportunity wish you your family a safe and relaxing Labor Day Weekend. Labor Day is more than just a day off—it is a day to recognize and honor the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices of working men and women who have built our communities and strengthened our nation.

For members of the Painters and Allied Trades, Labor Day holds a special meaning. It reminds us of the generations of union members who stood together to fight for fair wages, safe working conditions, quality benefits, and the dignity and respect every worker deserves.

Our trade is built on skill, pride, and solidarity. Every job we complete and every project we help build is a reflection of the professionalism and craftsmanship of union painters and allied trades workers.

Labor Day is also a reminder that the rights and benefits we enjoy today were not simply given to us—they were earned through the hard work and collective action of those who came before us. It is now our responsibility to protect those gains and continue building a stronger future for the next generation of union members.

As we celebrate Labor Day, let us take pride in being union members, thank those who fought before us, and remember the strength we have when we stand together.

Happy Labor Day to all our Brothers and Sisters!

In Solidarity
