Future Work

Posted November 23, 2021

Brothers and Sisters,

I wanted to give everyone an update on the work coming up in the Sacramento Region.

I recently visited the larger projects coming up in the Sacramento Area to see when they would be getting into full production. I found that most of the jobs will be ramping up in January. The projects I visited were the Wilton Rancheria in Elk Grove, Richards Blvd Office Complex in Downtown Sacramento, Orchard Park Student Housing in Davis, CAL STRS Project in West Sacramento, and the Thunder Valley Amphitheater project in Lincoln. January is approximately when they will be needing Drywall Finishers and painters will be coming right behind them.

With that being said, it is still currently slow and we have a lot of members on the out of work list. I will be calling as we get requests but we have been getting people called by name lately so it doesn’t hurt to make the phone calls to the shops you have worked for in the past. I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
