Executive Board openings!

Everyone should have received a postcard in the mail regarding the two open seats on our Executive Board. At our next regularly called meeting will be holding nominations to fill these two very important seats. Trustees oversee the financials of the Local as well as sign off on the Treasurers report of your Union. As for the Member At-Large, this position gets a vote as a proxy when other Executive Board members cannot attend our meetings. If you want to get involved with your Union and start learning the interworking’s of it this is a perfect opportunity to do so. Our Local Union meetings are always the third Thursday of the month and you will need to attend these meetings in order to hold these positions, so please understand there is a time commitment when it comes to being on the Executive Board.
