Painters Certifications Requirements 

Effective January 1, 2026

¿Cual es el trato?

Más importante…. A partir del 1 de enero^st 2026 Journeyman Painters MUST have these three certifications (through STAR) to be dispatched at all. All of this information can be found in the Northern California Painters Master Agreement in Article II Section 15. ¿Qué certificaciones?

The certifications will change every year for the remainder of the current contract but below are the classes you must have to be dispatched in 2026:

Pintores comerciales:

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 and Scaffold Training

Pintores industriales y de puentes:

CAS Level 2 Certification for spray painters and blasters -OR-

Hanging Platform Training, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, and Fall Protection (including Ladder Safety)

Esta parte es fácil y GRATIS! DC 16 STAR ofrece todas estas certificaciones sin costo para los miembros, simplemente registrándose en su sitio web en www.dc16star.org Deberá estar al día y tener su número de identificación de miembro disponible al registrarse. Llame a nuestra oficina para obtener esa información si no la tiene y estaremos encantados de ayudarle.
