Have you heard the rumor lately that our Nor Cal Pension had a multiplier added? The rumor is true. On 5/13/2026, BM/ST Williams and the trustees advocated for a 0.5 multiplier for the years 2005–2025. A great thing happened, and it passed unanimously.

This is a huge win for the Glaziers and our trade, and hopefully it’s just the beginning of more improvements to come. Many of us have been waiting for this since 2005. I personally got into the trade in 2006, and this moment was more than just another day for me. It was a win for all of us Glaziers who pour our heart and soul into this trade. Through the leadership of BM/ST Williams, we secured our first multiplier increase in over 20 years.

So, what does this mean? More information and detailed breakdowns will be coming out soon, but here’s a basic example:

If your pension benefit was calculated at $2,000 based only on years worked from 2005 to 2025, with the new multiplier, your pension would now increase to $3,000. This is a major step forward for our members and proof that strong leadership and advocacy matter.
