IUPAT District Council 16 celebrated the accomplishments of its newest graduating apprentices during a special ceremony held at Scott’s Seafood in Oakland on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Family members, friends, instructors, contractors, and union leaders gathered to recognize the graduates’ dedication, hard work, and successful completion of their apprenticeship training.
The event honored the graduates as they advanced to journeyperson status, marking an important milestone in their careers. The ceremony highlighted District Council 16’s ongoing commitment to developing a highly skilled workforce and strengthening the future of the finishing trades throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on this outstanding achievement.
