Brothers and Sisters,
This is a reminder that your payment for the Local 487 Death Benefit Insurance is due by the end of December 2022. The amount owed is $60.60, this will be for the whole year of 2023. Please make the payment payable to Painters and Tapers Local 487 and mail it to 7111 Governors Circle Sacramento CA 95823. You can also stop by the office and drop off the payment in person. If your payment is not received you will not have the benefit. If you have any questions call the office.
I would like to thank all of the members who showed up to support the Building Trades in getting a CWTA passed in the City of Elk Grove. It was a long City Council meeting but at the end of the night we got the CWTA passed. This will benefit our membership moving forward because all projects over $1 million dollars that are funded by the City of Elk Grove will be under this agreement and will have to be 100% Union. We are pushing to get these agreements in place up and down the valley so stay informed so you can help support things that are happening in your area. I hope you all have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
