COMBINED NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS NOTICE

NOMINATIONS

APRIL 22, 2022

To all Members of Local Union 567,

Nominations for the offices of President, Vice President, Financial Secretary, Recording
Secretary, Treasurer, Warden, and three (3) Trustees will be accepted from the floor at the last
membership meeting in May at the date, time and place indicated below.

In accordance with Section 7.01 of Local Union 567 Bylaws: All delegates (other than delegates
to the General Conventions and those serving as delegates to central bodies, which are appointed
by BM/STs) shall be elected at the June elections in accordance with Article XI of these Bylaws.

The Term of office will be three years beginning on the date of the election.

Candidates must be present and accept nominations at the nomination meeting unless absent on
official union business or confined to their home or hospital on account of illness.

The Election Committee will meet with interested candidates on Tuesday, May 31st, at 4pm at
2705 Constitution Drive, Livermore, CA 94551, any candidates unable to attend in person may
attend via Zoom for the purpose of explaining the election and campaign rules. Any candidate
needing remote access must request Zoom credentials from the Election Committee Chairperson,
Madison Hull at madison@www.dc16iupat.org.

A secret ballot election for the offices the offices of President, Vice President, Financial
Secretary, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Warden, and (3) Trustees will be conducted by Local
Union 567 at the date, time and place indicated below.

Only members in good standing will be eligible to vote “Membership in Good Standing” is
defined in Sections 209 through 212 in the IUPAT Constitution.

Under Section 92(b), members who are contractors or employers within the meaning of Section
91 are not eligible to vote.

Members will be asked to present a membership card, dues receipt, driver’s license or some
other form of identification at the polls.
