Be part of the change – Go Vote!

Posted November 4, 2022

Brothers and Sisters,

The moment has come,
The importance of your commitment to electing candidates that fight for the values of building trades, men, and women, should never be understated. Look no further than what you did to turn out your members in the 2020 election. Your actions and their votes elected a Congress and President that joined together to FINALLY deliver on numerous building trades campaign promises that had gone unfilled for decades.

What President Biden and Congressional Democrats have done in the last 18 months is nothing short of historic for building trades for working families. The policy wins they have given construction workers will be life-changing if they are not rolled back by the anti-union candidates on this midterm election ballot.

In short, we can’t give up the ship and need your help.

We must continue to rally members to the reality that Congressional Democrats and the Biden-Harris Administration are doing exactly what we have asked them to do – deliver policy wins for building trade working families.

Countering the misinformation that is out there right now is tough. I will be the first to admit that. But members still trust our unions. We have concrete proof that these unions. Congressional candidates have delivered for them.

As we head into the final weekend before Election Day, please do whatever it takes to get the message out – VOTE FOR THE CANDIDATE THAT HAS SUPPORTED THE BUILDING TRADES IN CONGRESS. If you need any help doing that, reach out to our staff. They are here for you.

Let’s be part of this change; go vote for labor-friendly candidates,

YOU CAN’T BUILD A GREAT BUILDING ON A WEAK FOUNDATION. YOU MUST HAVE A SOLID FOUNDATION IF YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE A STRONG SUPERSTRUCTURE.
