Brothers and Sisters,

Hope today finds you well. We are currently in negotiations with State Center Community College for a Project Labor Agreement, we have met twice so far and the process so far has been very positive.

I and Sister Nida Chicas recently attended the Spanish Recovery Night that was held in San Jose at the home of Local’s 507,1621 and 12. Sister Chicas shared her story and did a wonderful job. I can’t thank her enough for the courage to share her story and every one else at the event that did the same. Please be reminded that if you are dealing with any type of Mental issue or addiction that the DC16 Helping Hand’s Program is there to help. I myself am a recovering alcoholic addict and would be more than happy to assist anyone seeking help!

The following are endorsed candidates for the upcoming primary election. Please note that all of these candidates have proven track records in support of legislation and proposals that increase hours not only for us but all Building Trades Workers. Please note that there will candidates forth coming.

  1. Destiny Rodriguez State Center Trustee #1
