Hey everyone, today we’ve got a new member joining us, and that’s always a big deal.

Every person who joins makes us stronger. Plain and simple. The more of us there are, the louder our voice gets. And that matters.

But here’s the thing; bringing someone in is just the start. Now it’s on all of us to show them what this union is really about. Talk to them. Share your story. Tell them why you joined, what the union has done for you, what it meant to have people in your corner when it counted.

These values don’t just pass themselves down. We have to do that. Every conversation, every time we look out for each other, every time we stand together, that’s how it stays alive.
