Three members of Local 12 qualified to compete in the National Floor Covering Competition the first week of February in Las Vegas. Local 12 President Dave Bradfield and 32 year member Jeff Riella represented us in the Resilient Floor division and 21 year member Gary Harrison represented us in the Carpet division.
Each contestant had 2 days to complete a challenging mock up that had difficult and demanding tasks that had to be performed under usually pressures that we typically do not face in the field. I am proud to say that our fellow brothers did not let us down and did an amazing job in showcasing how talented our members are and the skill sets we have.
I am extremely proud to announce that the winner of the Resilient Floor division was our very own Local 12 President Dave Bradfield! If you see any of these brothers in the field, congratulate and thank them for representing our Local at the highest level.
