Are Your Certs Up-To-Date?

Posted January 31, 2022

Brothers and Sisters,

Recently we have been getting lots of phone calls from our Glazing Contractors requesting that we provide and dispatch apprentices and journeymen that have their required certifications. (First Aid/ CPR, Fork Lift Operator/Class 7 Telehandler, OSHA-10 or OSHA-30, Scaffolding, all Aerial Man lifts, Swing Stage and Fall Protection  USACE EM 385). It is each members responsibility to make sure that they stay up to date with these certifications. We have been working on a new SCT (Supervisor Certification Training) and are almost about to start to present it. Member Orientation and the Steward Class will also be available soon as well. The AGMT Certification is starting to be required on some projects so it is very important to become certified as an AGMT Technician. All certified AGMT Technicians in Local 767 will get a special jacket with the local emblem and the AGMT Logo.

Please be safe and I hope to see you at the next Union Meeting!
