Greeting Brothers & Sisters, and Happy New Year.
Local 913’s monthly meetings are held at the Union Hall at 1939 Market Street. Vaccination or negative Covid test within 72 hours is required. I look forward to seeing as many of you that can make it.
The Drywall Finishers have made a Collective Bargaining Agreement committee. They will be holding a meeting at Beyer Park in Modesto on Sunday January 16th located at 3700 Beyer Park Drive. They will be holding meetings in different locations up until the new contract negotiations this summer. Locations for future meetings will be updated as they come in. Check the website or call the Hall for more information.
Matt Haney, candidate for CA state assembly, will be hosting a mobilization event at Dolores Park here in San Francisco on Saturday January 29th. This will be a VAC event and we would appreciate as much participation from the membership as possible.
Local Union 913 also has a reoccurring VAC with Street life Ministries at the Menlo Park Cal Train station. They put on a church service for the homeless and we prepare hot meals to pass out at the conclusion of the service. This event is held every 3rd Tuesday at 7pm.
