Do you need a hand?

Checking in on the people in your life:

It seems we all know someone that is struggling through these tough times lately and the worst thing would be to find out that you noticed some signs and could have helped after it’s too late.

At our last union meeting I challenged all of those that attended to check in on someone that might be struggling and could use someone to just talk to and listen to them, just opening up a conversation could change someone’s outlook on a grim situation or life’s current difficulties. All members in attendance agreed to reach out to the people they know that they feel might be struggling to try to help, we all felt like this would be a good topic to reach out to the members to do the same…

Some can put on a good front but to those of us who know them well enough to see the struggles, have the strength to ask how the people in your life how they are doing. If you feel they need more assistance than you can offer, have them reach out to “Project Helping Hand”  or utilize the “Beat it” program that is part of our benefits
