Brothers and Sisters, I am very happy to inform you that at the Fresno City Council meeting on January 8^th, 2021 the City Council voted 6-1 to enter into negotiations with the Fresno Madera Tulare Kings Building Trades on a Citywide PLA. The negotiating process will begin probably within the next ninety days. The lone no vote came from District 6 Councilmember Garry Bredefeld . District 6 encompasses Bullard Ave North to Alicante Rd and in-between Blackstone and Willow. If you reside in District 6 please contact Councilmember Bredefeld @ 559-621-800 or by email at District6@Fresno.gov and encourage him to support the Citywide PLA at future levels of its negotiation.

                More good news on the PLA front: The North fork Rancheria Casino Project that has been in the works for many years and is to be built in Madera County off of Hwy 99 and Ave 17 has went out to bid and is expected to break ground in June or July of 2021. This project is under a PLA and will create many hours for our Members. WORK HARD AND BE SAFE!!!!!
