Important dates and Local Union News!

Sisters and Brothers,

Reminder on Tuesday May 19^th at 5:30 we will be having nominations at our regular Union meeting for  Business Manager-Secretary Treasurer, Business Representative and Delegates to the district Council only members in good standing  can be nominated, in June we will hold the elections for  Business Manager-Secretary Treasurer and Business Representative on Saturday June 13^th at 6:00 am to 5:00pm you should have received notice in the mail pertaining to the nominations and elections process only members in good standing can vote please make sure you have your ID and/or Members card, so please make every attempt to come out and vote, lastly on June 16^th at 5:30 our Regular Union meeting we will be voting for our Delegates to District Council make sure you come out and vote then join us to see what’s happening in your local from the finances, to on-going negotiations, News on what’s going on at your company as well as what’s going on at other shops, also you can find out what VAC event that are currently on the Calendar, you will get information from the District Council and hear what the IUPAT is currently doing in other areas, it is important to stay informed and know what happening in your Local.

If you’re out of work please call the office at 510-454-8150 and ask for Stacy and get your name put on the out of work list, also Stacy has been reaching out to Members to update your Beneficiary Cards and emergency contact information such as Cell phone numbers, home numbers and address so we can update our IMS files lately we have come across a lot of members who have moved or changed their numbers and have not let the Union know.
