Community Day of Action

Brothers and Sisters,

As we look ahead to April 25, 2026, we are calling on every member of Local 487 to stand together for our Community Day of Action. This is more than just an event—it is an opportunity to demonstrate the strength, unity, and pride that define our union.

Our union has always been built on solidarity. Every gain we’ve made—fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect on the job—has come from members showing up, standing together, and making their voices heard. The Day of Action is a continuation of that proud tradition.

Participation is critical. When we come out in force, we send a clear message: that we are united, that we support one another, and that we are committed to improving not only our trade but our communities as well. Whether you’ve been a member for decades or just recently joined, your presence matters.

This is also a chance to connect with fellow members, strengthen relationships, and remind ourselves that we are part of something bigger than any one individual job site. Together, we represent skill, craftsmanship, and the power of collective action.
