New July 1st Wage Schedules and Contract Agreements for the Floor Covers and Drywall Finishers

As of July 1^st, 2025 all trades of the Local 567 have new wage schedules. You can find the posted wage schedules online in the resource tab on the DC16 website or come to the union hall to pick one up. This year we had increases in the Painters wages by $3.00, Drywall Finishers by $4.00, and Floor Coverers by $6.00. 

Also new this July is the ratification of 2 new contracts in our region.

 First is the Floor Covering Master Agreement that boosted a record $18.00 over 3 years. This contract also had changes to shift differential going from $4.00 per hour to 20% per hour above the base wage and subsistence pay now at $75 a day with a hotel.

Second is the Drywall Finishers Master Agreement that bought $12.00 over 3 years. There were also changes to the overtime rules: Double time pay will now be after 12 hours on Weekdays and after 10 hours on Saturdays. Additionally, there was an increase to premium pay when working on non-prevailing wage projects in the state of California.
